Having their roots in traditional Nordic and Scandinavian Folklore gonks or gnomes are said to bring good luck and protect homes throughout the winter. Their bodies and noses are turned from Ash and their hats from an unknown wood species while Santa is turned from Lime wood with an Oak hat which has been painted and laquered. The bodies are finished with wood wax and their long pure white faux fur beards add a luxurious look and feel. They are sure to be a great talking point and would make an ideal Christmas Gift for someone special.
